Most furnace systems use Globar or Kanthal heating elements for furnace heating. Heating elements require a specific output voltage at 100 amps to 200 amps current rating. This power is not readily available from facility power. Our transformers are used to transform facility power to the necessary voltages required for the heating elements. General specifications are shown below:

Power Rating: 10 KVA to 300 KVA
Phase: 1 PH, 3 PH and Scott T connected
Voltages, Primary: 115 VAC or 208/220/240 VAC or 440/460/480 VAC
Voltages, Secondary: 6 VAC to 300 VAC approximately
Frequency: 50 Hz or 60 Hz
